Ms KH38b, folio 32a
Copied in Samvat 1886/1829 CE.
Entitled Sujaro pir Samas, this genealogical chart of Pir Shams is copied from the chopade (book) of ‘Kamadia Virpar Sajeniani’ of Samvat 1867/1810 CE (the term Kamadia is used for an official designated for religious duties). This suggests a chain of earlier surviving manuscripts perhaps owned by the then leaders of the Ismaili community in India. The manuscript is copied in clear handwriting on an Indian laid paper and has no watermarks. Its 136 folios are sewn in the middle. The manuscript is slightly wormed and damaged, but has been reinforced by previous custodians.
