Ms KH38b, folio 10b
Historical information in the Khojki manuscripts is rare but extremely valuable. The middle section of this folio reports that Pir Dadu, with all well being, left Nagar (an area of Sindh) for Bujh (an area of Kutch) on or around Samvat 1641/1584 CE. Pir Dadu was a representative of the Imam in Sindh. Persecuted by Sumra rulers, he fled to Gujarat. In the areas above and below the middle part of this folio, the copyist has included some verses in local languages (not attributed to any one name).
