Naushin Premji joined the Institute in 2014, initially as an Administrator for the Qur’anic Studies Unit, Department of Academic and Research Publications. She obtained a Bachelors degree in Law from the University of Surrey in 2012 and an MSc in Management (distinction) in 2019 from Birkbeck College, University of London. Her Master’s dissertation on Academic Management received one of the highest marks in her class and was added to Birkbeck’s ‘Best Dissertation Database’.

Naushin is involved in a multitude of projects that take place within QS and DARP. Her role involves working cross-departmentally with key stakeholders to provide administrative support, and to act as the first point of contact for external project contractors. Further to this, Naushin provides managerial support in the oversight of the Qur’anic Studies Publication Series, and offers logistical management for all academic lectures, international conferences and book launches.
