Sabrina. A. Bandali, from Toronto, Canada, received her B.A. (Hon.) in Contemporary Studies and Political Science from the University of King's College and Dalhousie University (jointly conferred) in Halifax, Canada. In her third-year of the Graduate Programme in Islamic Studies and Humanities at the IIS, she undertook a M.St in Oriental Studies at the University of Oxford. Sabrina was awarded a distinction for her work at Oxford, specializing in Islamic Law and Modern Middle Eastern History. She is currently studying law at the University of Toronto, and is a Junior Fellow at Massey College. Her academic interests include transnational law, human rights, and negotiation, with a particular emphasis on Muslim societies.
