Our Alumni Community

The IIS Alumni Association was established in 2005 following the Institute’s 25th anniversary to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship between IIS and our alumni. As of December 2021, there are more than 700 alumni dispersed across more than 35 countries. It is a growing body, and once you graduate, you can join a community of professionals in diverse sectors including academia, development, media, education, government, as well as arts and culture.

Chapter Groups  

There are currently three Chapter Groups run by dedicated teams of elected Chapter President and Secretary. The Regional Chapter Group leadership organise quarterly and yearly learning and networking events.  

The Presidents and Secretaries of the respective Chapter Groups from October 2023 to September 2024 are:

  • President: Zehra Shallwani (GPISH 2019)
  • Secretary: Suleman Pirani (STEP 2021)
  • President: Abdul Wahid Khan (GPISH 2021)
  • Secretary: Zohra Gabrani (STEP 2016)
  • President: Naveed Nanji (GPISH 2014)
  • Secretary: Anika Kabani (GPISH 2022)
