This event follows Nizari IsmailisAdherents of a branch of Shi’i Islam that considers Ismail, the eldest son of the Shi’i Imam Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq (d. 765), as his successor. and Spiritual Resurrection conference and will begin at 7.30 pm. To attend the conference, please see the conference page.
The concluding event of the conference will be a live performance of classical Iranian music with Behdad Babaei on setar, Madjid Khaladj on tonbak and Vahid Taremi on shurangiz. The concert celebrates pieces composed by the late Maestro Parviz Meshkatian (1955–2009) and includes improvised pieces performed by Behdad Babaei accompanied by Madjid Khaladj and Vahid Taremi.
