Sorbon is a graduate of the IIS’ Graduate Programme in Islamic Studies and Humanities (GPISH, Class of 2008). He holds a BA in English Linguistics from the Department of Linguistics at Tajik State Pedagogical University, an MSc in Social Anthropology from the University College London, and an MPhil in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from Durham University. Sorbon joined the Ismaili Heritage Project in August 2016.
