Naushin Premji joined the Institute in 2014. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Surrey in 2012 and an MSc in Management (distinction) in 2019 from Birkbeck College, University of London. Her Master’s dissertation on Academic Management received one of the highest marks in her class and was added to Birkbeck’s ‘Best Dissertation Database’.
Naushin is involved in a multitude of projects that take place within the Qur’anic Studies Unit (QSU) and the Department of Academic Research and Publications (DARP). Her role involves working cross-departmentally with key stakeholders to provide administrative support and project management, and to act as the first point of contact for external project contractors. Further to this, Naushin provides managerial support in the oversight of the Qur’anic Studies Publication Series and offers programmatic and logistical management for the department’s academic lectures, workshops, international conferences and book launches.
