Emily Turner

Emily Turner has a background in both education and visitor attractions, having worked as a Primary Teacher and also with the tour teams at the National Theatre and Houses of Parliament, as well as the Education team at The Guardian Foundation. In addition to this new role with the IIS, she currently works with the tours team at the London Transport Museum, and also writes about and advocates for improvements to public transport. In addition, she has an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries and is currently studying part-time to become a psychotherapist.

Emily will be working to manage the existing building tours programme, as well as creating partnerships and increasing opportunities for the wider community to discover the AKC
