Dr Aftab Jalia

Aftab Jalia is an Indian architect based in Ottawa, Canada and has been working on Ismaili Heritage sites since October 2020. He has researched and documented sites from North America, South Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa. With core interests in architectural design and history, the Ismaili Heritage project has allowed him to learn more about his own roots while working alongside fantastic colleagues.
