Sorbon Mavlonazarov

Sorbon Mavlonazarov (GPISH, Class of 2008) from Dushanbe (Tajikistan) graduated from the Department of Linguistics at Tajik State Pedagogical University in 1998. He joined the Institute’s Graduate Programme in Islamic Studies and Humanities in 2005. After completing his MSc in Social Anthropology from the University College London, Sorbon joined the Central Asian Studies Unit at the Institute as an intern. He joined the Ismaili Heritage Project in August 2016.
